2014 Nissan GT-R – Review
The GT-R is the Nissan’s giant killer supercar that combines ultimate style and Japanese reliability with a matchless performance. The previous 2013 version of the GT-R is even a perfect car but Nissan added a few new features to the 2014 model year to make it just exceptional example of a true performance buddy. Nissan didn’t touch the styling and interior features of the 2014 GT-R but has made certain significant improvements to its Powertrain ensuring a matchless performance. Nissan also made a few interior changes and has added an all new Track Edition Trim levels with a cluster of unique features and feel. Exterior
The body and styling of the Nissan 2014 GT-R remained unchanged. The Black Edition adds lightweight black wheels, unique red and black interior, carbon fiber rear wing and leather Recaro seats. The all new Track Edition gets features like the Black edition but adds some more competition ready car with the elimination of rear seats for weight reduction.
Powertrains and Performance
At the heart of the 2014 Nissan GT-R is a 3.8 liter Twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 545 horsepower and 463 lb ft of torque and the power sent to the all wheels via six speed dual clutch automated manual transmission. The car sprints out from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds with an EPA rated fuel economy of 16 mpg city, 23 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined. Nissan added new fuel injectors to enhance the throttle response at mid high RPM. A new oil pan baffle is also added to stabilize oil delivery at high performance driving dynamics.
