Dodge Charger and Fiat 500 Win 2013 APEAL Study Awards
Carmakers around the world are always competing to win some of the prestigious awards like J. D. Power APEAL Awards that are considered one of the top awards in the automotive segment. Chrysler has now made an announcement that their Dodge and Fiat models have managed to win some of the main awards which indicates the level of technology and better car options that they provide to the consumers. Chrysler revealed that the 2013 Dodge Charger managed to win the award in the Large Car segment for the third consecutive year while Fiat 500 led the City Car segment.
In the announcement, Chrysler said that J.D. Power 2013 US Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study also reveals that Ram truck brand is among the highest in the non-premium brand in the industry. The APEAL study measures how good the consumers feel when they own and drive their new vehicle and Ram Truck has managed to get the highest ratings among 77 other vehicles that were evaluated. According to J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study car owners are usually surveyed 90 days after they have bought the vehicle to see the level of owner loyalty towards the brand, higher transaction prices and spend less time on dealer lots.
Chrysler said that they are glad that they are able to keep up with the high standards and quality that they have focused on. Chrysler 300 is the only car that ranked third in its segment in the study but the automaker is still happy with the kind of awards that they have grabbed.
