2015 Cadillac Escalade – Synonymous to Design Evolution, Craftsmanship and Technology
Cadillac introduced the fourth generation all new 2015 Escalade that gets an evolutionary design, precisely crafted cabin, high standards of luxury and innovative technology features. According to Cadillac, the 2015 Escalade receives a number of improvements in each and every aspect to deliver an exemplary SUV to the segment. The senior vice president of the Global Cadillac, Bob Ferguson said, “The 2015 Escalade is completely new and elevated in design and technology, inside and out. The clear objective is to once again assume the leadership position among luxury SUVs. Cadillac’s growth provides the ideal stage for the all-new Escalade to arrive and take a major leap forward.”
Cadillac will put the 2015 Escalade on production from the next spring in Arlington, Texas and the SUV is expected to put on sale by the end of 2014. The new Escalade get power from a new 6.2 liter V8 engine which will deliver high power and efficiency compared to the previous models. Cadillac offers the new 2015 Escalade in both 2WD and 4WD configuration.
The specifications of the 2015 Escalade include hand cut, stitched and wrapped leather trimmed interior sculpted appearance, quieter interior, state of the art voice recognition with touch controls, 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster, head up display projects, Blu-Ray DVD rear entertainment system features a 9” roof mounted screens. The Escalade will be the safest SUV in the segment as Cadillac offers a long list of innovative safety features including front seat mounted airbags, front and rear automatic braking, forward collision alert, automatic safety belt tightening, Lane Departure warning system and the Escalade relay upon a short range radar technology and ultrasonic sensors that helps the driver to avoid front and rear collisions by providing constant alert.
The director of design for Cadillac interiors, Eric Clough said, “An exceptional level of craftsmanship has gone into the redesign of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, and it all centers on the premium materials and extensive use of cut-and-sew live stitching – the way fine furniture is produced. We designed Escalade with what we call the beauty of contrast.”
