The BMW Caught Sight of Enthusiasts at Frankfurt Auto Show
The BMW and its i brands attended the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show to present their new models. At the show the most eye catching presentation of the BMW Group was the joint premier of the BMW i3 and i8. The BMW i3 introduces a new level of urban mobility without affecting the environment negatively. This is the first premium car of the world that is designed with a focal point of delivering increased fuel efficiency, no emission and runs on electric power to offer a matchless performance and ride quality within the city. On the other hand, the BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid that runs on the combination of fuel and electric power and so has a bearable emission.
The passenger cell of both the models is constructed from Carbon Fiber Reinforced plastic (CFRP) coupled with BMW eDrive technology making them able to drive in electric only mode. The German brand BMW is working to introduce some efficient solutions for urban mobility, though, there are already some good options available in the market however, there is still need to have something that stands out into the future. This is not the end of the innovative presentation of the BMW at the Frankfurt auto show, as BMW introduced their first ever electric bike, the C evolution. The bike runs on an electric motor and a pair of lithium ion battery pack and is designed to continue their journey without any emission.

The BMW Concept Tourer is another project that demonstrates the abilities of a compact car with some high end clever features.
